Why MAEK
What sets us apart
One firm for the whole matter
In Spain, very few procedures involve just one area. Hiring a foreign worker, registering as self-employed (autónomo) or setting up a company touches immigration, Social Security, tax and accounting all at once. Here the same team handles all of it, so you do not have to go from one adviser (gestoría) to another.
Fixed fees, agreed in writing
Before we start, you sign an engagement letter setting out the work, the fees and the full list of documents we need. No drip-fed requests for paperwork and no surprises on the invoice.
Nothing goes out without a second check
Contracts, tax returns, appeals and applications are reviewed internally before they are filed. Deadlines are tracked from the day a matter comes in, and if a case is unclear, the head of the relevant area looks at it before we give you an answer.
On both sides of the Strait
With offices in Malaga, Algeciras and Tetouan, we work with people who live, work or invest between Spain and Morocco. We can help you in Spanish, Arabic, Berber (Amazigh), French and English.
How we work
A method, not guesswork
Every matter follows the same path, from the first enquiry to the final decision.
Tell us about your case
On WhatsApp, by phone or at one of our offices. We ask only the questions we need to understand it properly.
We tell you what needs doing
The right procedure, the deadlines, the risks and the cost.
We prepare and check it
We gather the documents and put the file together, with a review before anything is filed.
We follow it through
We keep track of notifications, requests and deadlines, and keep you informed at every step.
